RE: Membership Dues and Sponsors
During our recent board meeting the board of directors passed the following amendment to the membership fees:
Your Board of Directors is asking for your help to raise money for the successful operation of this association. The added sponsorship money from this will go to, but not limited to, our rodeo committees to help with expenses, such as advertising, added money prizes etc. This is needed for our rodeos continued success and give the contestant a chance for increased earnings.
Here is the idea. Our current single membership if purchased by December 31st has a cost of $160. After January 1st the cost is $175. If you get a $300 sponsorship, we will give you your membership for free. If you get a $500 sponsorship, we will give a “family” membership for free. The Association also welcomes any amounts over these figures.
The only catch is we need to have this received before the end of January; this due date allows the association to financially plan for the year.
Your sponsor will get recognition in the Rodeo News, on our website, and at our rodeos. What a great way for your friends, family or a business you support to give back to something you love!
This idea is voluntary, recommended but not required. If you would prefer not to participate, just send in your membership by the end of December for the $160, or for the $175 after January 1st.
