Congratulations to our very own John Bassett!!
Each year, Prescott Frontier Days honors a rodeo family, noted as the Pioneer Family.
Please welcome John Bassett, a member of the 2019 Pioneer family (full article in the rodeo program, page 57). John and his family have been involved in this Rodeo for generations. We are honored to have such great talent and rodeo roots in the Prescott area.
He didn't mention he was a world-champion race horse trainer along with his rodeo talents.
We are SO grateful for that and hope you enjoy hearing from some of them this year. It is important and critical to keep history alive and to capture stories from those legends.
